of it, there are no exams! It's an open book, an interesting distance learning hybrid that is tailored for Singapore.
The pace of the course was very ideal for me as I had to manage the assignments, be a good mother

I completed my INTESOL Certificate course in June 2005. During the course of my training with the school, I found the course contents of excellent standard. It is very designed to equip anyone with the necessary tools to teach English to non native English speakers in a very effective and fun way.
In the year after attaining my certificate, I have been able to incorporate many of
the language teaching methodology, lesson and syllabus planning, organizing the class and using the numerous practical teaching skills acquired during the course. From my experience, this course does not only provide you with the "WHY" but also the "HOW" in my role as a TESOL teacher.
With this certificate in hand, my family and I will be moving to Laos early next year, where I will have the opportunity to fully use my new skills to teach and help those with a need and desire to learn the English language.

I am thankful for the training I got from Intesol. While other ESL teachers here depend so much on ESL workbooks, I use the principles I learned from you at the workshops. And I'm happy to say that my students who are zero learners,can be left alone in a supermarket and bus station after 12 hours of English sessions! My friends who are also ESL teachers are amazed at how fast the students get "functional" in terms of everyday living. I really encourage my friends to take the INTESOL training. It's not enough that we know how to communicate in English. We should also know the principles of imparting that knowledge to fellow non-native English speakers.
